Jointly Build a High Ground and Empower the Future

On October 24th, a grand ceremony for the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement and the unveiling of the joint base between Changbao and University of Science and Technology Beijing (abbreviated as “USTB”) was held. School leaders, including Zhang Qiuman, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Yao Zhihao, Vice Dean of the Graduate School of USTB, as well as company leaders such as Cao Jian, Chairman of Changbao Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony to jointly map out a new blueprint for future cooperation.

Changbao & USTB Launch Strategic Cooperation & Exchange

During the ceremony, Chairman Cao Jian affirmed the outstanding contributions of USTB in talent cultivation, technological innovation, and other aspects in the fields of materials and metallurgy, and expressed gratitude to the university for its support and assistance to Changbao in talent supply and development. He stated that Changbao has always been unswervingly committed to the path of high-quality development, adhering to independent innovation, continuously enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise, and striving to contribute to the domestic substitution and large-scale application of high-end pipes. He pointed out that in the future, both parties can carry out deeper and broader cooperation in three areas, that is, scientific and technological research, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation, so as to create a new situation of industry-university-research collaborative innovation and win-win development.

Zhang Qiuman introduced the university’s basic information and talent cultivation model. She pointed out that in recent years, USTB has been strengthening in-depth cooperation with key enterprises in the industry, focusing on meeting the development needs of the industry and forging ahead with determination. She stated that both parties should take this signing as a new starting point, continue to deepen cooperation in such fields as technological innovation, talent cultivation, technical exchanges, and achievement transformation, and promote the implementation of USTB’s outstanding talents and remarkable achievements at Changbao.

Changbao and USTB jointly signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement and the Donation Agreement for the “Changbao Fund”, specifying that both parties will establish a long-term cooperation mechanism in such fields as material technology R&D, joint research on projects, and joint talent cultivation, in order to support the development of the university’s education through practical actions and showcase the responsibility of “jointly cultivating talents and promoting development”.

Plaques Unveiled for “College Student Employment and Internship Base” and “The Second Classroom Educational Practice Base”

Subsequently, both parties unveiled the plaques for the “College Student Employment and Internship Base” and “The Second Classroom Educational Practice Base”. In the future, Changbao will serve as the “second classroom” for USTB students to enter enterprises and participate in practical activities. Both parties will build a seamless connection channel “from internship to employment”, extending the cooperation from “macro strategies” to “specific scenarios”.

On-site Research and Visit by the Delegation of USTB Leaders

After the ceremony, the delegation of USTB leaders paid an on-site visit to the R&D Center, laboratories, PF unit, and Special Materials project. Through detailed introduction, they gained an in-depth understanding of Changbao’s production processes and technological advantages, speaking highly of the company’s strength.

From the signing of the agreement to the launch of the base, and from the resonance of ideas to the planning of practices, this cooperation is not only a key step in Changbao’s strategy of “driving innovation through talents”, but also an important exploration of “industry-university-research integration” of USTB. In the future, both parties will take this cooperation as a starting point, continue to deepen collaboration, and inject a steady stream of “talent momentum” and “innovative vitality” into the high-quality development of the industry!
