Recently, Chairman Cao Jian led a delegation to visit major oil and gas companies and government agencies in Oman, including Oman Energy Development Company (EDO), Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, and the Tender Board. During the visits, he introduced Changbao’s previous investments in Oman and discussed the feasibility of further enhancing strategic cooperation in the future.

During the visit, the company signed a Memorandum with EDO, aiming at leveraging the strengths of both parties, strengthen strategic collaboration, and enhance Changbao’s service capabilities in Oman and the regional market. This visit further deepened the company’s understanding of the Omani and Middle Eastern markets, strengthened the company's ties with major Omani oil and gas companies and government agencies, and played a significant role in enhancing service capacity in these regions.

While in Oman, Chairman Cao Jian and his delegation also visited the Chinese Embassy in Oman and held a meeting with Ambassador Lyu Jian. They exchanged views on the current Omani market conditions and policy situation.

In October 2017, the company invested in and established the first Chinese-owned manufacturing facility in Oman, located in the Sohar Free Zone. This was also Changbao’s first overseas manufacturing facility. The facility has operated efficiently and stably for nearly eight years. As a strategic stronghold for Changbao in the Middle East, it plays a crucial role in responding swiftly to customer needs and enhancing service capabilities in the Omani and Middle Eastern markets.
