On December 24, Changbao officially released first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) report, demonstrating to market clients the transparency and accountability of its products in environmental performance, which will not only meet the demands of both the market and supply chains, but also provide data support for Changbao to assess carbon emissions level and set science-based carbon targets, accelerating the green and low-carbon transition and the development of green steel tube brand.

The EPD report is a standardized Type III environmental declaration based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principles, detailing the environmental impacts of products throughout their entire life cycle—from raw material extraction, production, and use to disposal. In the context of green and low-carbon development, EPD certification is regarded as a “green passport” for products entering the international market.

Through the quantified data in the EPD report, Changbao systematically evaluates the carbon footprint and resource consumption of core products at each life cycle stage, identifies the key environmental impact factors in the production process, accordingly optimizing process flows and improving energy efficiency. The report also provides authoritative environmental information to downstream clients, facilitating collaborative carbon reduction across the entire industrial chain.
In the future, Changbao will continue to deepen the green management philosophy across the full product life cycle, expand the range of products covered by its EPD system, and promote green technology innovation and standard system development. By consistently disclosing environmental performance data, Changbao aims to enhance supply chain transparency and collaborative efficiency, supporting downstream industries in achieving low-carbon transformation. Changbao will further explore low-carbon product certification and construction of the carbon footprint traceability platform, contributing new low-carbon momentum to industrial green upgrade while advancing its own sustainable development.
