Two-step upsetting tubing and Green pipe

On the basis of regular API upsetting tubing, Changbao’s special upsetting products have two main directions: One is to satisfy customer’s requirements for premium connection processing, such as PH6 type integral joint connection; the other is for reuse of pipe body. Oil field operators must cut off damaged upsetting threading, but none-upsetting part could not ensure the joint connection strength. So two-step upsetting part can satisfy customer’s requirement for upsetting tubing re-use and save the cost.

About Changbao’s special upsetting products, pipe body could completely meet the requirements of API 5CT. At the same time, buyers can customize the pipe end size for premium connection processing or re-use of pipe body.

Changbao’s special end upsetting part adopts the same quality control procedure as pipe body or ever more stricter than that, including sampling inspection of end properties, magnetic powder inspection, manual ultrasonic flaw detection and end numerical control processing to ensure the quality of each ending meets requirements of customer.    

Service Environment

Changbao’s special upsetting products apply to the service environment requirements of all API steel grades. The upsetting end applies to the same service environment as pipe body.
